8. Does it cost extra to upgrade when a new version of StatsJunky is released?

No! Your StatsJunky software will update automatically every time you sign in. Updates to the program are yours free for as long as your StatsJunky license is active.

9. How can I purchase a StatsJunky license?

10. If I purchase a StatsJunky license, can I load it both on my desktop and my laptop computers?

No. StatsJunky is a single user license and can only be installed on one computer. You can, however, use StatsJunky Mobile to access your Affiliate Program Stats with your cell phone or PDA 24/7! Simply click “Stats” > “Mobile Stats” and enter the required information. StatsJunky will generate a unique and private URL that you can access from anywhere with an internet connection.

12. How can I upgrade from the trial version to a full license?

Your upgrade is automatic if you entered your payment information when you downloaded the trial version. Your first monthly fee will be billed 30 days after you download the trial version.

13. What payment types will you accept for the purchase of StatsJunky?

You may use any major credit card, debit cards with the Visa/Mastercard logo, or PayPal to buy StatsJunky online. The payment method supplied at the time of purchase will be rebilled each month for $29.99.

14. What if my credit card is declined for a monthly subscription payment?

If your payment is declined, your StatsJunky account will be deactivated. When you attempt to sign in, you’ll receive an error message instructing you to update your billing information to continue using the StatsJunky program.

15. Will I also receive a CD-Rom in the mail?

No. To keep our prices low, StatsJunky is only available via download. Once you have downloaded the program, however, you are welcome to make a backup copy of the executable file in case you need to reinstall the program in the future.

Security/Privacy Information

1. Does StatsJunky contain advertising, adware or spyware?

Absolutely not! StatsJunky is not malware. It will never contain any type of advertising, spyware or adware. StatsJunky will not store, log or even access any of your statistical data, logins, passwords or personal information.

2. If I provide the login information and password to my Affiliate Programs, won’t you have access to my personal information?

Once StatsJunky is installed, it will connect to our servers only to validate your license and load any updates to your StatsJunky program. Your Affiliate Program login information and passwords are stored on your own computer in a secure and encrypted file. We do not have access to that information.

3. If I request a program be added to StatsJunky that isn’t currently supported, don’t your programmers have to login to my Affiliate Account?

Yes, they do. However, the reason for accessing your account is only to write the code necessary to add the program to StatsJunky. If you’re concerned about your privacy or the security of the information in your Affiliate Account, we suggest that you assign a temporary password during the process to provide to us. Once the program has been added to StatsJunky, you can then change the password back. For added security, you may also change the user data in your affiliate program (i.e. Social security number, name, birth date, etc.) until the process has been completed. Any temporary access that you provide to your Affiliate Programs is only used to add or update the program you submitted.

4. When I login to my Affiliate Programs using StatsJunky, is the connection secure?

You will have the exact same level of security at each website you manually check stats at that you currently have. All StatsJunky does is automate the process for you.

5. What personal information does StatsJunky collect?

The only personal information collected by StatsJunky is that which is necessary for you to access and use our services. It includes, but is not limited to; first and last name, email address, phone number, financial information used for subscription payment and your website login information. StatsJunky does not collect any of your Affiliate Program information or statistical data.

6. Will any of my personal information be sold, rented or shared with third parties?

Absolutely not! Your personal information is only used by StatsJunky to complete transactions or to communicate with you regarding your product license. StatsJunky will not sell, rent or share any of your personal data with anyone else. We do not provide any access to our mailing lists to third parties unless required to do so by law, search warrant, subpoena, court order or credit card fraud investigations.

7. How secure is the StatsJunky website and software?

StatsJunky uses the Secure Socket Layer (SSL) protocol with 128-bit encryption strength to transmit any sensitive information. This is the same technology used by banks, the government, and other online merchants such as Amazon.com and eBay. Once the information is on our server, it is accessible only to authorized StatsJunky personnel. We strictly enforce our privacy policies with our employees and any breach of this policy will result in immediate termination and criminal prosecution when warranted.

Installation

1. What are the computer specifications for the StatsJunky program?

Microsoft Windows

2. Can I use StatsJunky on a Mac?

At this time, StatsJunky will not run on a Mac. A Mac version is something we hope to have available in the near future, however.

3. How do I install StatsJunky I’ve downloaded the program to my computer?

Step One	Disable AntiVirus and AntiSpyware programs. They may corrupt the StatsJunky installation. You can enable these programs again once the installation is complete.
Step Two	Click on the StatsJunky Installer Icon. Windows will open a Security Warning file asking you if you want to run the software. Click “Run”.
Step Three	The InstallShield Wizard for StatsJunky will open, to continue; click “Next”
Step Four	Please read the StatsJunky End-User License Agreement. If you agree to the terms and conditions of the StatsJunky license, check the “I accept the terms of the license agreement” box and click “Next”.
Step Five	A dialog box will appear that will allow you to create a StatsJunky shortcut on your desktop and the quick launch bar. If you do not want to set up these features, click to uncheck the boxes. Click “Next”
Step Six	Select a complete or custom setup. A custom setup will allow you to choose which program features you’d like to install. This is recommended only for advanced users. Once you select the setup type, click “Next.”
Step Seven	A dialog box will appear that will begin the installation of StatsJunky. If you haven’t disabled your AntiVirus and AntiSpyware Programs, you should do so now. To begin the installation, click “Install”.
Step Eight	Upon completion of the Installation, you will see a dialog box that says “Install Wizard Complete.” If you would like to launch StatsJunky immediately, click the box next to the “I would like to launch StatsJunky” text. Click “Finish”.
Step Nine	When the Sign In box appears, enter the Username and Password you selected when you registered StatsJunky. If you would like StatsJunky to remember your Username and Password, check the Auto Sign In button.

4. What should I do if I’m getting an error message and the program didn’t install?

Please check to make sure you disabled your AntiVirus and AntiSpyware protection prior to attempting the installation. These types of programs will frequently create problems during the StatsJunky installation. Once these programs are turned off, try the installation again. You may turn them back on once the installation is complete.

You may also receive an error message if you’re installing on an operating system other than Microsoft Windows XP™ Home/Pro. If the problem persists, please contact support@statsjunky.com. It would be helpful to our support team if you included the error message you received. We will respond as quickly as possible.

Getting Started

1. Once I’ve installed StatsJunky, what should I do first?

Please take the time to familiarize yourself with our User’s Manual. From the main page, select Help > User’s Manual. How to use the features of StatsJunky are fully explained. Below is a brief step-by-step to get you started.

Step One	Click “Stats” > “Add New Program”. Complete all of the fields in the Add New Program” dialog box and click “Add”. The Affiliate Program you added will show up in the “Stats” main window. The flag in the Status column in the main display window will flash green while your statistical information is being downloaded. The amount of time it takes to download will vary by the amount of data StatsJunky is adding and the Affiliate Program you added. When the flag changes to solid green, your download is finished and the up-to-date statistics will be reflected in the Stats window. If the flag is red, there was a problem connecting to the Affiliate Program you added. Check the login informtion you entered in the “Add New Program” fields to make sure it is correct. To edit, click “Edit” > “Edit My Affiliate Programs” or contact support@statsjunky.com .
Step Two	To change the date range of the statistics you’re viewing click the “Date Range” tab and select on the date range you’d like the statistics to include. If you’d like to create your own date range, click “Custom” and select your “from” and “to” dates using the dropdown calendar.
Step Three	To customize the information that the table displays, click “Stats” > Columns. Select the column headings you’d like to populate the display window by clicking on them. Columns with checkmarks next to them will be displayed. To remove a colunm that is already checked, simply click on it.

1. Is there an extra charge for Technical Support?

No! You’ll have access to free technical support for as long as your StatsJunky license is active, just email support@statsjunky.com

2. What language is StatsJunky available in?

At this time, StatsJunky only supports the English language.

3. What do I do if I need help?

If you have a question that has not been answered here and you have StatsJunky installed on your computer, please check our User’s Manual. If you still don’t find the answer you need, please contact support@statsjunky.com

4. What should I do if StatsJunky doesn’t accept my activation number?

Your activation number is your transaction number from the Credit Card Processor. If you joined using eSellerate the receipt number starts with ST********. If you joined via Clickbank the receipt number is characters (example: LDIUEJ83). Both of these transaction numbers can be found in your welcome email from the Credit Card Processor. Please contact support@statsjunky.com if you have any further questions.

5. What should I do if I forget my password or Username?

If you forget your password, you may click the retrieve password link on the Sign In page. To retrieve your password, you will need to know your StatsJunky Username or the email address you registered. Upon receipt of your request, your password will be emailed to the address you registered. If you forget your username or no longer have access to the email account you registered, please contact support@statsjunky.com . For increased security, we will not provide StatsJunky Usernames or passwords over the phone.
