In order for you affiliate links on your Landing Page to work, we need to append a piece of PHP code that will allow your landing page to dynamically load the unique keyword tracking codes. (Click here for a sample page)
Here's all you have to do to setup the keyword tracking:
| Step 1. | Use the setup wizard in StatsJunky on the PPC Stats tab. Select Landing page for any of your links, and click Export to save your new keyword destination URLs with the unique tracking code. |
| Step 2. | Upload those new keyword destination URL's into your PPC account. Adwords has an easy tool for this (Adwords Editor) |
| Step 3. | Add the Landing Page tracking code to EVERY affiliate link on your Landing Page that you want to track keyword conversions with. |
Example: If you have Clickbank links, then they are in this format: http://yourid.theirid.hop.clickbank.net
You'll add this code to the end of your Clickbank links: ?tid=<?php echo $_GET['sjid']; ?>
Then your links will look like this: http://yourid.theirid.hop.clickbank.net/?tid=<?php echo $_GET['sjid']; ?>
IMPORTANT NOTES:
This only works on .PHP landing pages. If you have a .html landing page, simply rename it to .php and then run the setup wizard in StatsJunky again and change your keyword destination links to end in ".php" instead of ".html"
Each affiliate program uses slightly different tracking codes. Be sure to use the correct one or your links wont track properly. We have provided a list of the currently supported sites for Keyword Conversion Tracking. If there is a site you use that has a Sub Tracking feature that would like to see added, simply request it here
