Quick Summary of Video

  • In this video we are going to look at the Conversion Tracking Wizard for your landing pages. This is the next step of what you need to do to track your conversions after you have set up conversion tracking through the software.
  • After you have set up conversion tracking through the software, you then use the Conversion Tracking Wizard.
  • On the www.StatsJunky.com website, click on ‘Support’ to go back to StatsJunky Support Center
  • Click on ‘Conversion Tracking’ on the right of your page.
  • You’ll be taken to the Common questions for Conversion Tracking page. Click on ‘Landing Page Setup Wizard’.
  • Step 1 asks you to select the type of landing page used. PHP or iFrame are the two that are discussed in this video.

If using PHP landing pages:

  • Select the PHP option.
  • Select your Affiliate Program from the dropdown list in Step 2 on your screen.
  • In the next box to the right, labeled ‘Link’, enter the link to your Affiliate Program that is on your page.
  • Click ‘Generate New Link’, and a new link code will be generated for you.
  • The first part of the new link is similar to your original link but new code added to the end will allow StatsJunky to track conversions on your links.

If Using iFrame:

  • iFrame allows single link in which case you will select single link as your type of iFrame page. The procedure is then the same as the PHP.
  • If you have multiple links, select ‘Rotate Multiple Links’.
  • Enter the number of links that you need to generate. For this video we will use 3.
  • Enter the title. For this video we will use ‘My Affiliate Program’.
  • Click on ‘I’m Ready to Enter My Links.’
  • In Step 4 on your screen select the different Affiliate Programs and their corresponding links from the dropdown menus. They can all be different.
  • Click on ‘Generate my iFrame Landing Page’ which will generate the links for your iFrame.
  • Copy and paste the entire iFrame Landing Page Code and put it up onto your site.
  • Paste into HTML editor and save it as new iFrame.
  • It’s important to remember that it will be saved as a PHP page, not an HTML page.
  • Lastly you can FTP or upload into your server as your new iFrame code.
  • That’s how you use the Landing Page Wizard to create tracking links on your PHP and iFrame pages.
